My
friend told me he was redoing his bathroom, tiling it, new frame for
shower doors. Then he told me he goes to HOME DEPOT on foot to buy the
things. He has no car.
TIM. HOW on earth DO YOU a SENIOR CARRY A BOX OF TILES?
"I have a cart, it is easy to carry into stores, it folds enough to be slung over the shoulder going in..
Yesterday I brought home eight
boxes of tiles, a box of thin set mortar, a pool skimming net, a twelve
pack of New Castle Brown Ale, a bag of limes, and a pound of sliced ham.
All in my little rolling cart. I
have brought home more. If the weight is less than 90 pounds over all, I
can hoist the cart onto the back of my bicycle. The bike gets unstable
with to much weight. Recently got to much and had to walk the bike with
the cart on it. Yes, an ole country boy, I can walk anywhere if I want
to or have to. Strong, like lion. I walk because I want to. Legs get a
springy feeling, love to walk it off. Google the Home Depot and Sam's
Club on Placentia Avenue, it is not a short walk. About a mile.
But for a senior, Invigorating.
Yes again Anita, the tiles are
called Caribbean Blue Gloss. I am installing 40 square feet. I have
secured about 20 square feet so far. now in serious tiling mode.
