STAR,
DJ or GURU - Having a radio show or PULPIT so that you
can guide humanity, --becoming a Radio Disk Jockey or even BEING a radio
psychologist or Pop GURU --- requires A CERTAIN LEVEL OF spirituality in
your own heart, brain which shows up in your daily life. If you plan on
being a GURU of sorts, teaching, guiding the community and BEING in that
delightful state of BEING A FRIENDLY happy VOICE ON THE RADIO (appealing
to listeners) realize that THIS CONDITION doesn't come without your treading
a STEADY upward LADDER, rung by rung, involving certain disciplines. It
is an organic ladder. It doesn't grow like Jack's beanstalk overnight.
But like most things organic, its growth and progress is receptive to any
and all efforts.
SOME gurus get there with hustle and black magic. The shock factor. They are the licensed sociopaths. Or in the POP GURU area, they promise you that they can fix your life. They tell you that they pronounce spells, they do white magic. It's an anthropological reality that since the cave days, some enterprising con men in every tribe always promised that THEY could sell you a dose of their MOJO, just give them a live chicken.
They are con men. They don't have magic and only boobies give them a chicken. The proof is that they never ever give freebies to the needy. They cannot cure a headache in themselves much less others. They always ask for money in front for their magic as they are always getting stiffed by their horrified clients. They are constantly being revealed as selling everyone a bill of GOODS, perfect hokum.And if I, a professional astrologer can say that, (I'm 25$ the hour as I tell my star clients, what I do ain't brain surgery," then believe me. There are charlatans in the guru biz.
A soul doctor or Guru or DJ must DELIVER the goods, meaning TOUCH the actual SPIRIT of his listeners, or he will not become an INFLUENCE in the community. You do not learn to TOUCH SOULS overnight. I consider MICHAEL MOORE, AL FRANKEN, JON STEWART the top soul touchers in America today. I find DEEPAK CHOPRA a boring guy, but he really is only teaching you to relax, so he's OK. I think HOWARD STERN works for the dark forces. But in/with all these men, there is no untrustworthiness in their ability to deliver some goods or other.
So, you want to become someone who TAKES A LOOK, has a SENSITIVE TAKE on the reality and then RIGHT BACK AT YA......delivers it! Not just VERBAL but a PROCESSOR first. A real 'inhale deeply and see and then say.
You can't take a PILL and become A "SEE-and- SAY, overnight warm voice, healing teacher, a Doctor Phil or a Deepak guru or a Disk Jockey or Psychologist or INSTRUCTOR person automatically. You don't achieve an audience, a FELLOWSHIP, a community a parish overnight, either. You don't gain the warm, humble, "PEOPLE COME FIRST" attitude while you haven't got the cash for your rent, roof or a meal. You don't get the warmth at all without covering your own bases, first. You must handle your own SURVIVAL ISSUES so that you can relax. AND EVEN THEN, when you have a steady income, you don't get into the FAME GAME immediately. It may take a year or two.
You don't gain that patient ability to sustain mentorship to others, maintain INTEREST in them, when you yourself are in terror of eviction. Nor can you develop higher level of consciousness that allows you to listen to people in trouble, TRUST your inner eye, 'get' their situation to SEE-and-Say, when you yourself life in quasi poverty and cannot cover the basics. Covering your baics may take you a few months. RELAXED SURVIVAL TAKES basic work at getting an EARNING river running.
Then you have time and a relaxed body. You can do some SOUL purification, (getting rid of insane desires, "ME FIRST" feelings, getting rid of EGOISM, dumping that condition of being "AT EFFECT" OF YOUR fears, FANTASIES, DESIRES). You are seeking to become so relaxed that you can go into the opposite gear, creatively "AT CAUSE."
The rung by rung approach for you to go up the ladder involves commitment, diligence and sacrifice and learning to relax and ENJOY PEOPLE. YOu can't be in cash terror while you try to do that, either. All you'll do is get furiously mad. "I DID THIS FOR YOU and you STIFFED ME?" YOu are guaranteeing yourself a torn up soul if you have put yourself on a torn up cash path..
AT EVERY STEP you must edit out the negative voices. "THe 'you stiffed me" feelings. And edit out the EGOISTIC voices that we plugged into, "I'll show those sons of guns when I make it big."
There are other voices, the ones that say 'you automatically will be a big star." You really must question YOUR sanity when those voices come. KNow that EVEN INTO THE BRAINS OF A GOD walk the demons of the devil. THere are so many ideas like 'THE LORD wants me to be a star." That can be a demon voice. These voices WALK disguised as GODS, ANGELS, they walk in white robes with halos.
THE voices SAY "MOVE FASTER. God is watching out for you. So what if you're bankrupt? GOD WILL HELP YOU RUN TOWARD GOALS. SO RUN.....YOU WILL NOT TRIP."
Babe, THEY LIE. I know plenty of people who crashed into walls when GOD was supposed to be helping them. Fell off cliffs, even. THOSE VOICES that tell you that you're made of TEFLON or SPUN GOLD tell you fantasies.
DEFROCK the devils hiding under halos and wings and whispering such lies. PULL THE ROBES off those beautiful disembodied VOICES that assure you you are going to make it bigtime and can leap into being a full on RADIO STAR GURU today just by buying a CONTRACT at a radio station and selling commericals. You want to spend your whole week selling commercials? You have that kind of time? NO, cuz you need to work a job cuz you're indigent.
Confront reality without getting bummed out. GET THE BIG PICTURE of reality and do it softly without WAKING UP the other dark angels sleeping in the room. YOUR fears.
YOU HAVE to turn up the corner of the robes of your false lying oh-so-sweet-friends, Mr. DESIRE and MISS FANTASY LAND,see the black and red coat underneath. The pronged tail, and see that under the crooked halo there's this little pair of budding horns. THESE methed up impatient DEMONS ARE SAYING that you should be holy and go save the world. CRUCIFY YOURSELF. That's what they're saying, that and whatever else you need to hear to seduce you into RUNNING TOWARD these HOLY GOALS. WITHOUT DOING a rung by rung reality check as you work your way up the spiritual ladder. And why are they all pace and ambition and fast? Cuz they're working out of YOUR BRAIN.
WHEN you catch YOUR BRAIN and its desires masquerading as angels and making fancy demands and assurances and promises, quietly just know that from now on, when THAT VOICE whispers seductively, you will pay MORE ATTENTION TO THE RUNG YOU ARE ON . (Probably bottom rungs right now.) BUT YOU WILL KNOW that you are on the trip toward those holy goals. How do I know they're bottom rungs?
Because you have no way to make a living within your chosen field! Simple as that. You know the path that leads to being a radio star and you tell me RADIO STARS work at stations for radio or tv people They have income from something (even if volunteering at the station). They pay rent, food, heat, clothes, car insurance easily. THEY are not shaking and shimmering with fear. They don't have ten bucks in the drawer and not a buck elsewhere.
So if I SUDDENLY TELL YOU, that your fantasies of getting to the top of the ladder SOON, or immediately are lunatic voices coming from your brain.
You feel it's FAITH and the voices come from GOD. Then why doesn't GOD give you, the appointed, annointed one more than ten bucks? Hey, you're a little unsteady right now. They can lock you up for hearing voices.. Side step them. Know that there are liars in the room.
IF a few years delay makes you bummed and you becomg hopeless and suicidal, do yoga to chill out. You can chill your way thru any LIFE LESSON with yoga. I have lost many friends who saw the voices, realized they were living in a dream, listening to untrustworthy counsel from their own insane faith and who abandoned their slow walk up the ladder. They walked away from lucrative business deals because they THREW THE BABY OUT WITH THE BATHWATER. Don't do that,either.
They said, 'oh I'm nuts, I was listening to voices, hence I am getting out of show biz." Don't say that. Know this. YOU ARE SLOW ASCENDING A LADDER. SLow is good cuz it is the only thing that keeps your health good. As long as you have health, you can handle anything. VOLUNTEERING in the media industry can really take it out of you. But volunteering is how you get in. Spending a certain amount of hrs a day at the station is how you get in.
None of us was left a manual in RADIO/TV Land or SHOW BIZ land on how to ascend, detailing the pros and cons and explaining the steps. As a result, many of us find ourselves stunned and confused by the degree of physical and emotional pain we experience in RUNG CLIMBING this UNSTEADY LADDER, so learn to chill thru a minute of yoga, whenever you find your mind whispering stuff to you that doesn't sound quite realistic.

You will become brighter, more powerful than other volunteers and BRASS will raise you to a show of your own cuz you SPARKLE!
NEXT. wherever you go, shine like a sun. You can talk about negative events on the news, but not your own sorrows....unless you have enough personal voltage to make the whole thing hilarious. BEST is (to do as the big radio stars do,) talk about OTHERS' horrors but WISDOM and HUMOR and philosophic ability to extract the LESSON must accompany or surround that info or LISTENERS BECOME hopeless and uneasy. SO you must work steadily at editing NEGATIVES out of your mind, speech and thinking unless there's a payoff, a way out. If you must tell another person negatives, indicate to them, 'this was in the past. You won't do that again." Be positive.
BOTTOM rungs of the growth ladder will involve doing some emotional
clearing of yourself. That is, clearing out the old, stuck lower frequency
emotions such as anger, rage, shame, guilt, regret, remorse and bitterness
toward parent/s family/loveersthat are part of ancient memories and wounds.
These traumas are held together in layered
blocks that resemble an onion. Also included in these blocks are the
beliefs and behavior patterns from which the traumas were created. As we
clear each layer of these blocks from the emotional body, the physical
body then releases its equivalent of that layer. We call this process,
Emotional Clearing.

AND SQUIRRELS as we know do nothing but gather nuts from morn to nite and stash them so they are FREE to volunteer in show biz, as gaffs, as PA's as radio assts. UNTIL their opportunity comes and they can LUNGE for it.
I KNOW a little radio star in the making who's gathering tapes, who's met a station that will give her a show if she pays 6k and gets 3 commercials a week bought in the city of seattle, at 55$ a minute....I have the contract here on my desk. HOWEVER, she only has 24$ in the house, owes rent, has no food and is a full time college student. She has the blues. She thinks that if she raises the 6k the station wants her to give them for her show contract, she's in like flynn. She must become aware of what beliefs and behaviors are out of balance and she must take appropriate steps to balance herself. I hear her little frightened voice in my head and see that the black ghost fears are flying around her head. She says no. She says GOD WILL GIVE HER THE MONEY TO GET THE SHOW. I see someone on the ground, who has not taken even the first steps on the ladder's rungs to place feet firmly on the first run who is trying to leap onto the top of the ladder.
Oddly enough she is in schism and doesn't see it. The Soul/Higher Self wants the radio show. The Inner Child has not placed feet on rung one. It is throwing a tantrum to get to top of ladder. WITHOUT waking those demon fears, she must question her false friends, the robed ones, the voices, the ones who pretend to be her agents, and staff. She must question the beliefs they led her to have.
HER BELIEFS are that she can fly to the top of the ladder right now. Sign the deal with the station, get her first radio show.
I HAD another PAL, a famous actress, An oscar nominee for BEST ACTRESS
OF THE YEAR in 84, who had a radio show with that same station as my little
shaky pal with the contract. The actress had the show on the air for years.
She bought all her home equipment, did another show out of her home. Later
she showed up at the station and did a show out of it, for years. Cost
her thousands. As she had pals with the high and mighty, she dragged them
to the station. I went once cuz she was doing a show on stargazing and
there was JAMES COBURN and his wife. First guest. Mrs C. gave me all these
papers about arthritis and I wrote that up,

MY PAL did this show for years. It emptied her pockets. The stack of tapes has done her nothing. SO TRUST me, getting to the top of the ladder isn't even an assurance that you can break into the media biz. AND GAD KNOWS that show took it out of her, cash, etc. There were beliefs and patterns in her that were not worked out, stuff, emotional garbage that led her to VOLUNTEER two years of her life to the AIR WAVES. That's why I say we must clear our consciousness entirely of fantasies. This ideas HAVE voices and those voices LURE you into doing ONLINE TV and RADIO efforts that you maybe do not need.
To get the freeloaders in your skull to leave, ASK YOURSELF WHY do you want to be that media star. They will hear. They will answer, "so I can do what Clooney's doing, films on issues. So I can do what Bono's doing, what Oprah's doing."
OK? RIGHT NOW IN YOUR LIFE, do a Clooney an Oprah a Bono. DO it now. Smaller reach, I'll grant you but do that charitable act.
