THE PICKPOCKET LOOKS AT THE ZEN MASTER AND SEES ONLY POCKETS
                                                               
ONE of life's great afflictions is to see that person whom you thought a dear friend, sweetheart, client or relative has selfish intentions and is picking your pocket,  is lying to you, and trying to use you or worse, sucker you. And the funny thing is, they know how to buy your silence. They just smile and say 'I LOVE YOU.' Every time. Because they know you want to be loved and they HOPE that their 'friendship' will make your wallet numb and you won't know you're being suckered. But do people SUCKER folks they LOVE? NO! What they love is SUCKERING, STEALING, USING.

You want to protect yourself from this snake a.) because of your wallet, but b.) because they can give pain that lasts a lifetime! This event I PROMISE you will regularly, continually torment you years down the line. To both PREVENT crazed cracks and bruises in your heart as well as to handle this killer-associate, one ANSWER would be to denounce such treatment the second it occurs. Bust them on their stuff. Be brave and lippy.

(Problem is we rarely spot it IN THAT MINUTE. Their smiling and saying I LOVE YOU is like a spider's numbing venom. I had my hand bit by a black widow. Hand will not move and there is no feeling.) So they usually walk away from their spider encounter with you and you're waving this numb, paralyzed hand. Five minutes after their getaway you need PAIN KILLERS! Pain lasts for weeks, too.)

There is a second solution --you can  avoid that person thenceforward and let them go on their way ---a criminal. UGH AND GOODBYE.

THIRD ANSWER: you can commit to a LIFELONG morality seminar where you will be teaching this deficient being every single time they try this trick on you or  hear them preening to you about nailing another fool.......as these spiders TAKE SCALPS, as an Apache would say, they will chortle to you later about how they're scamming someone. Like Indians, they BRAG & COUNT COUPS.

If you sign up to give a verbal lesson to the thief every time you spot the behavior you become the GURU and the TEACHER's natural Superman Shield of PROTECTION will protect you from this low being hurting your feelings or wallet.

So, bust, teach or kick out the door. Which is it to be?

EITHER WAY, don't waste time feeling hurt or feeling hate for this low being who would USE A FRIEND /relative OR LIE TO ONE for personal gain, and smirk their way around "I LOVE YOU's" that sound like rotten melons smell.

*If customers or friends or relatives REGULARLY try to sell you the rotten melon and ROOK YOU, you would do best to CHOOSE the GURU route (NOT BUST or DROP but instead, TEACH) every time you get suckered and it actually will turn out to be a new level of enlightenment for you. 

BEING RAPED, CHEATED, STOLEN FROM by friends is the worst that HELL can do to you.  It puts bitterness into hearts so that they never work right again. Become a rattler handler,  you will  learn to defang snakes, make the world a better place. Just take care to escape the bite and the poison it leaves in the heart. 

*Sometimes the thief of hearts, the thief of our friendship, time or money is a family member or client. Then you cannot kick them out of your life.(Though If they were a friend and do this twice, they really are NOT a friend and you should dump them and put their name on some website like BAD BEDFELLOWS.ORG.)

Here's what might stop you from a KICKING OUT and public shaming: Is it advisable to set them free to pursue crime on others? How many people will they bankrupt, embitter? Destroy? CAUSE to lose years of time?

Moral behavior means you must EDUCATE THEM. FIT their education into your schedule! A Sacrifice, no? But, if you do not want CRIME ALIVE IN THE LAND you must supply regular lessons until a transformation occurs. A DEFANGING. To do that you must watch their crummy lives. Keep an eye on them.

IF you must keep a fiduciary or family relationship, you can't kick them out. In that case you also have to go totally into zenmaster mode, denounce and teach with patience and a teflon heart. Can you, you old softie, give TOUGH LOVE? YES. Bite the bullet. For the sake of the world you have to be a zen master. You must REFLECT any exploitation with the speed of a whip. Tell them the TRUTH about what they were just doing and what they must do no more, as it degenerates them to the belly-crawling-on dirt snake level of FIRST CHAKRA SURVIVALISM. 

Your words must work like the cutting edge of the whip. But no whip. No punishment. No making them lose face, ever. JUST WISE WORDS, kindly delivered. Positive enhancement for their evolution, their future posture which will be more elegant.

 Do not let the criminal think that they have you suckered. Instruct them that they were being a pickpocket in the halls of friendship and you, a perfect dummie spotted it.

They will wiggle like a rattler and protest, lie like a rug. Keep a straight face. No rage. Be neutral. Just say "YOU MUST KNOW WHAT YOU WERE DOING." Now you're adding a lie to it? Gee, you're double dip living in untruth.

NEXT TIME they attempt their chicanery, when they pull out some lie or trick,  bust them again, --verbally, --wIthout anger. Use Generic words like "You have just done x y and z. That is pretty tricky, Buster. You skirted an issue, too. You exited by the backdoor,  a sin of omission done to keep a few bucks in your pocket or cover your double life. Your cheating or (if it was a lie,) that was a lie to a friend and one done for personal gain, doubly a crime. 

Say : "LET ME ADVISE YOU that while you pick my wallet, there is a PENALTY FOR YOUR HABIT of using people. Your chums, relatives and sweethearts see it but won't tell you. The truth is,  anyone you try that on will realize that you EXPLOIT, lie and steal and WHAT IS MOST HORRIFIC, you do it to friends. And they will have a bad taste about you. And talk you up in the land.

"Do you want that rep ? Is it worth the nickles you put in your pocket today to be a criminal for life?

WORSE, you know what you did.  So what about your internal landscape and guilt? The universe knows, internally  and PUBLICLY"

Then, smile and get off it or they will leave YOU FOREVER. YOu don't want that. Keep this in mind, ---this snake is a young soul and goes on his merry way, cheating both you and others, lying, scamming, borrowing and not paying back, always asking for freebies, favors. AND BREAKING HEARTS, EMBITTERING MANY PEOPLE over the next 60 years.

You do not want that to happen so you don't SLICE THROUGH THE SILVER CORD that has karmically brought you together nor do you CUT THEM in half. ...only stick the sword's tip in, each time. A pinch, a poke that draws blood.

You may need help, so find OTHER PEOPLE who'll also stick in that same sword tip.  Now  is time to go to their chums and get the team to be zen masters so as to REALLY catch the snake's attention. 

"Hey Bob, Did you notice that so-and-so has a crooked game going? What can we do? "I've got an idea. We gently bust him. Maybe this is how we talk to Snakey about his criminal quirks, how he USES people, that all he seems to know is bilking and using. He's a con man. I don't choose to get bitter about what he tried to do to me but If we let these lower beast predator types alone, to roam like wolves, predate innocent creatures, the world is an horrific place. And sadly, wolf-children get born of these idiots. SO THE BEASTS MULTIPLY. Our own grandchildren will be accosted or even hurt badly by those offshoots. BUT If we step in and adopt the wolf, turn it into a dog, the world is a better place. That is why we step in. We say something, but not in anger.

Save this file to send to the next person who tries a crooked trick on you. Just send it to them the way I send this to you, today. Or if you are not near keyboard when your pocket is picked ~ Take a big long breath and say MORE or less these words while gazing into the criminal's eyes. Take care to maintain a pleasant face. As the TRUTH IS SCARY to a liar. You don't want anybody stroking out. So keep your pulse in the low 70's. The best weather is the low 70's.
