BACK PAIN is NUMBER ONE PROBLEM in AMERICA. To FIX:

EXERCISE 1 - Stomach crunch. Lie on back. Pull head, neck and shoulders up off bed as high as possible. Hold until body starts to shake. Relax Relax. You will feel a warmth radiate up from your tailbone to your head. Breathe into the pain. Do 3x/day. Increase duration as you are able to. Be careful with this exercise. Concentrate. People like you who are athletic will have no problems with this, but others should exercise caution.

2 - Leg Tuck. Lie on back. Tuck one leg under the other at a right angle. Hold until pain in lower back dissipates. <---------> Reverse now doing it with the other leg. Relax.
Breathe into the pain. Concentrate. Do 1x to 2x/day.

3 - Confront bad feelings. Keep confronting bad feelings until they dissipate - go into a room alone, scrunch up your fists, and make the angry sound. Then say WHY bother being mad, they're just X, could be dumb as a ditch carp, or raised wrong, or ignorant. Or meaningless to my existence. but do confront insults, scoldings verbal abuses, nasty remarks, etc. Do not look for them, but when they come-up confront them by yourself alone in a room where no one can hear you.. Imagine what you should have said to the abuser and say it, get it off your chest impolitely and then maybe later politely to them, but not on front of other people. Realize what the abuser's problems were and still are. You will find that the feelings and the pain they cause will gradually dissipate. If possible confront the abuser in real time. Ask him/her to repeat the abuse. Say, "I don't understand." or "Can't hear you." Say what you are feeling.

4. - X-Rays are a useless waste of time and money for back problems. You need MRIs and Catscans. If they show a problem with discs, then you need to repeat them with injected radioactive Iodine. A CHI LAMP WORKS however. Very inexpensive. Lifelong health tool for entire family, neighborhood.

6. - Mickey Mouse up a LUMBAR CUCUMBER. My pal who fell off a roof as a kid rolls a towel, takes it in the car and into theatres. It works like the FIRST wedge on upper left. IF it's a relative who adores you, child, mate, or even a sweetheart, the love energy radiating out of their hands is sufficient to heal you. But add some muscle rolfing, nerve bunch massage, with any amount of pressure in their adoring fingers, a treatment or two can heal the problem. Tell the not strong ones (your children,) to send the love, concentrate also on sending the magic energy of the universe thru their fingers into your back, but instruct them not to send their own, personal energy. Always borrow it from heaven. If you have a very strong relative, use 30 lbs pressure to ROLF the muscles. For all your trainees, instruct them not to push down on or bother with bones. Joints, cartilege, fine but rubbing bones doesn't do anything. The joints, the muscles around the joints (where there are painful joints,) and the muscles and nerves should get the workout. .The single Biggest muscle in body is those that hold the pelvis in place. Work on them takes a really strong person. WITH A BIG MUSCLE: Push in stretching its length, push slowly deeper and deeper over about five seconds, then slow release. Like a rubber band you're stretching. Leave an anatomy book near and teach the traine to identify all the muscles in that body area. Google images, or give it a shot with you working on THEIR back  instructing them on what a lower back muscle feels like. Where yours are, but shown on theirs.

8. BACK WALK. Left foot of your relative or chum is on pelvis which can support weight. Right foot does a slow press on vertebrae then releases foot's weight and moves on to next vert.. Chum should crack every vert from hip to neck though not all are accessible. All will crack into place with the slow application of weight. Yogi Bhajan did this to me and he weighed 250 lbs . He used to give back adjustments and vert cracks until his top advisor said 'possible huge litigation, sir.' and this gift to his pupils stopped.

9. BEAM ME UP SCOTTY. Get your MELOXICAM not VICODIN. Painkillers don't do anything to heal heal a back injury. What is called for is an anti-inflammatory medication. Your doc will prescribe meloxicam. One can use ibuprofen if one can get Equate ibuprofen (a generic) at Walmart fairly cheap if one buys the twin pack -- two bottles of 100 tablets each.  The brand names are Advil and Motrin. But  never buy them because they cost a lot more than the generic.
